Our Story
The Story Behind The Creation of Hydrant House
The idea for the Hydrant House came about while visiting several RV Parks in the Pacific Northwest before building my own RV Park in Eastern Washington.
I certainly noticed the many ways that people were providing freeze and weather protection on their frost-free hydrants. There were very few that were clean or efficient. I noticed plastic bags, five-gallon buckets, and garbage cans were being used to keep the elements off heat tape and insulation. I searched for something better, something more efficient and streamline, but could not find it, so I created one.
I have been using the Hydrant House in my own RV Park with great success. Not only have they worked efficiently, but they have provided a clean and unified appearance throughout the park.
